A little bit about me...
Design is something that has always been a part of my life. From sewing, photography, jewelry design, and now graphic design...I’m a designer. I’ve got that right brain creativity and a passion to use it.
I earned my BA in Advertising Design in 2011 and immediately began my first internship with a local newspaper in Santa Cruz county. I quickly moved up to a salary position and began my journey of newspaper layout and advertisement design for local businesses. Inspired by the passion of local entrepreneurs, I launched my own graphic design business in 2012, Mountain Girl Graphics. Shortly after I started a business networking group for women in the Santa Cruz Mountains that helped not only popularize my own business but the businesses of many other women all around Santa Cruz county. I had just discovered my talent for marketing.
I’ve always got a plethora of ideas rolling around in my busy brain and being a hands on artist as well designing textiles and jewelry, I teamed up with another local talent, Erik Waage and we created the Santa Cruz Mountains Makers Market, an art and craft market featuring the work of local artists, crafters and live local music, too! Together we have built an event brand and successfully marketed it. The SCM Makers Market is now entering into its fourth year.
Life is always evolving just like design. This year I’m excited to begin design collaboration with my fellow creative, Angela Stucky! Angela and I are teaming up to create fantastic design for businesses locally and around the globe. When creative women put their heads together, there are no limits! http://angelastucky.com
