Art has always been a part of my life. I’ve created many things in many mediums; sewing, photography, jewelry, graphic design, and collage. I’m an artist and I love supporting other artists, too…we make the best stuff!

I earned my BA in Advertising Design in 2011 and immediately began my career in the advertising department with a local newspaper. My journey in the field of graphic design and advertising had begun. I got my feet wet in newspaper layout, which I loved, and I created loads of ads for local businesses.  Inspired by the passion of local entrepreneurs, I launched my own graphic design business in 2012, Mountain Girl Graphics. Shortly after I started a business networking group for women in Felton, Business Girls, that helped not only launch my own new business but helped boost the businesses of many other women all around Santa Cruz county. I had just discovered my talent for marketing.

In 2014 I teamed up with another local artist, Erik Waage and we created the SCM Makers Market, an art and craft market featuring the work of local artists, crafters, food, and live local music. Together we have built an event brand and successfully marketed it. The SCM Makers Market is now entering into its fifth year and we are putting together more markets than ever. Life is always evolving. With lots of changes in my life came another creative outlet…collage. I’m totally inspired by this transition in my life and my own emotional and spiritual growth.
